Don't give up on assembling at church!
It can be easy to come up with reasons to skip going to church. I have heard plenty of them ranging from "I don't like the people, they are fake, hypocrites, or they just want money".
Please be tolerant with the church, after all she is the Bride of Christ. I don't know about you but I don't like people talking bad about my spouse regardless of how imperfect they may be.
Things to remember; all Christians are works in progress like yourself and we need each other's grace. We come together to 1)worship a perfect God, to 2)gather strength to help others and 3)grow our faith through hearing the Word of God!
So, don't skip church. After all you go to work without fail, even though it has people you don't like, that are hypocrites, and are all about money. The paycheck makes you tolerant. Remember that your spiritual paycheck is greater!
God bless you and go worship the Lord today!

not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Going to church today?

What’s up with the water?
Due to the many water concerns our area has had, I have
heard people say “water is life” as a true statement to illustrate the urgency
needed for clean drinking water. Indeed one cannot go long without drinking
water before their body perishes. What is needed for our soul not to perish? Jesus
standing at a well told a Samaritan woman everyone that drinks this well water
will be thirsty at some point again but He then told her, “everyone that drinks
of the water I give them will never thirst again!”
Are you thirsty? If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as
Lord and Savior now is life’s greatest moment for you! Before accepting Christ
I was looking for something to fill a void in my life but was not sure what it
was. Can I tell you that no other person can fill that void, no amount of money
will do it, no amount of alcohol or drugs will satisfy you. It is only when you
accept Jesus into your heart that you find the peace and joy eternal life
brings. If you will only confess with your mouth the Lord
Jesus, and believe in your heart that God have raised him from the dead,
then in this moment you are saved (romans 10:9)!
John 4:13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this
water will be thirsty again,
John 4:14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will
never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of
water welling up to eternal life.”
Whether you are a seasoned Christian or just accepted Jesus
as Lord, do not settle beloved and be relentless in your pursuit of Christ.
